Don Dinner Parties is a unique company owned by Hazel and George Don, their aim is to provide a high standard of upmarket food and professional service brought to your own home.
Don Dinner Parties was first established in Glasgow 2002 were we ran the successful Dinner Party business until we moved to County Down in 2011
A little bit about us ……
George has been a chef for over 30 years, he has worked in all corners of the world, gaining experience in upmarket and fine dining restaurants. His approach to food is simple, best quality fruit and vegetables, award winning butcher meat and locally caught seafood.
Hazel has worked with George for 25 years; she is a dining etiquette specialist and over the years has gained a good knowledge of food and wine pairing.
For larger dinner parties George and Hazel’s twin girls Minny and Ava Don work alongside mum and dad.

Here’s how it works…….
Send us an email at our contact page and let us know which date you have in mind and how many guests you are inviting. Tell us how many courses you would like, choose one from each section, George will send you an email confirming your date and cost, we will then arrange a date to visit you in your home for a pre-dinner party consultation.
On the night…….
Hazel and George arrive at your home a few hours before your guests arrive, as George is preparing your food Hazel will set your table, you can put your feet up and relax.
Once your guests have all arrived Hazel will serve canapes, after a short break you will be asked to make your way into the dining room for your meal. Hazel will pour the wine and clear between courses, when your meal is finished, they will clean your kitchen and leave you and your guest to enjoy the rest of your evening.
